Why Become a Member of IWF

IWF is a global organization committed to advancing and promoting women’s leadership.  We champion equity, diversity and inclusion.

IWF’s membership is 7,000 women from 33 countries.  This global community of leaders is in part an answer to women’s need for a network that will support shaping a future where leadership has no gender.

We enable female leaders by increasing their:

Capabilities – through international development opportunities including the Fellows Program and IWF Intensive program.  These programs strengthen women’s capabilities making them stronger and influential.

Network – with a global network that creates a powerful exchange. IWF convenes different perspectives that increase imagination for what’s possible, in particular at our annual World Leadership and Cornerstone conferences.

Possibilities – that elevate and enable the next generation to continue to transform the world. The responsibility to equip the leaders of the future is more urgent than ever.

We believe that the intractable challenges we face can only be solved if women attain their equal place and status – if women share their diverse perspectives, contribute different styles of leadership and present new solutions only they can develop.

We believe the potential for women is unlimited and opportunities should be, as well.

We believe an investment in women is an investment in the future

We believe that our power lies in our unity

We believe in transferring knowledge and momentum to the leaders of tomorrow to improve our world – to energize, demand and accelerate the imperative of change.

We connect and cultivate long-lasting friendships – we support each other in an environment built upon trust.

We elevate the next generation today to become leaders tomorrow.

That’s why we champion equality.”
