LG Behind-the-Scenes Experience — Victoria

Thursday, October 15, 2026 | Starting at 1:30 p.m.

Our signature event is an exclusive IWF BC visit hosted at Government House by the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, The Honourable Wendy Cocchia.

Members will enjoy behind-the-scenes access and an intimate, memorable program in one of the province’s most significant ceremonial settings. As well as a tour of the BC Legislature. Further details will be shared soon.

The Victoria experience

The Gathering program may also include:

• A visit to the BC Legislature, including a tour of this remarkable building. The Parliament Buildings stand on the traditional territories of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples, now known as the Songhees and Xwsepsum Nations.
• An IWF BC Victoria member-hosted Victoria Dine Around on Thursday evening
• A guided cultural walking tour of Victoria
• A tea tasting at Silk Road Tea 
• Visits to signature local shopping experiences: from Sabayon’s & The Market Garden to Munro’s Books, along with hidden gems such as The Gardener’s Kit showroom. 
• Time to connect informally with fellow IWF BC members amid the harbour, heritage streetscapes and independent businesses that give Victoria its distinctive character

All activities have been planned around Victoria’s Inner Harbour, making the Gathering especially convenient for members who prefer to arrive by coach, floatplane or Helijet.

Host hotel: Magnolia Hotel & Spa  – reservations must be made no later than September 1. Ask for the IWF BC rate. 

Registration and accommodation

IWF BC Gathering program cost: $299 per person
Includes all programmed activities and the Thursday-evening Dine Around.

Additional meals, travel, accommodation and personal purchases are separate.
